Our first ever race. We showed up at the track with a brand new car, virtually untested. We passed tech inspection without a single issue, and we bribed the judges with Taco Bell. Class A, zero penalty laps. The car ran great for the whole weekend. The only issue we had was on Sunday, the car started running rich, turns out the tiny air filter we put on clogged up in only a day on the track. We swapped filters Sunday afternoon and finished the race strong. We completed 206 laps over two days, and had a best lap time of 2:15 in our rookie debut.
